Sporting Clays

The professionally designed Bayou Course at Long River Lodge offers shooters of all skill levels a challenging yet rewarding shooting experience. Target presentations are reset weekly to make every visit a new experience. Our Claymate™ target control system makes it easy to control target release even for solo shooters.

5-Stand

The 8-Trap 5-Stand at LRL is both fun and challenging. Whether it’s just for warming up before your quail hunt or sharpening your shooting skills, the 5-Stand is a great alternative to a full Sporting Clays round.

Instruction

Long River Lodge offers professional shooting instruction for male, female and junior shooters of all experience levels from beginner to advanced. Our NSCA certified instructors will evaluate and tailor an instructional session to your personal objectives.

In addition to 1-on-1 shooting instruction, Long River Lodge has established The Academy at Long River Lodge.; a comprehensive 3-day program that is guaranteed to raise your scores and increase your enjoyment of sporting Clays all while making some new friends.
