The kennels at Long River Lodge are stocked with some of the best gun dogs around, Brittany Spaniels. These high-energy, close-hunting dogs are delight to watch work. The Brittany is well suited for the birds and hunting conditions found in south Louisiana. Each dog has its own personality and personal hunting style; However, one thing you can always count is they will attack the toughest cover and find the birds.
