Hunting Rules
Revised November 1st, 2010
- Obey guide’s instructions at all times.
- Keep safety on at all times until ready to shoot.
- Never shoot in the direction of another hunter, dog, guide, vehicle or building
- No spectators allowed in field without prior approval of Management.
- If you accidentally shoot a dog, you will be charged $3500.
- Hunter orange must be worn in the field at all times. Orange hats and vests are available in the pro shop.
- No “high brass” or magnum shells allowed at LRL.
- With hunting parties of 3 guns, one gun must “sit out” each flush. Guide will determine shooting rotation.
- NEVER shoot a bird on the ground.
- No children under 10 are allowed to hunt at Long River Lodge.
- Do not shoot at birds flying below 8 feet off the ground.
- Please pick up spent shells.
- Never board a field vehicle with a loaded gun.
